1. Membership Term
- Core Membership has a minimum contract length of 3 months.
- After the initial term, the membership continues on a rolling basis unless cancelled in line with the Cancellation Policy below.
- Founders tier pricing of $29/week is fixed for the first 12 months from your join date, after which your membership moves to the standard weekly rate.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Members may not cancel during the first 3 months (the minimum term).
- After this period, you may cancel at any time, with 1 month’s written notice, through the same method used to join (online, in-salon, or by phone).
- The cancellation process will be simple and straightforward, without unnecessary steps.
- No refunds will be issued for payments already made, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
- Any unused credit at the time of cancellation may be applied to retail purchases.
3. Cooling-Off Period
- If you sign up online, by phone or in salon, you have 14 days from your sign-up date to cancel for a full refund, provided no membership benefits have been used.
- To exercise this right, contact Polished Byron Bay in writing within the 14-day cooling-off period.
4. Payment
- Membership fees are charged automatically on a weekly basis to the card held on file.
- You must ensure your payment information remains current.
- If a payment fails, your membership may be suspended until the issue is resolved.
5. Credit and Rollover
- Your weekly fee accrues as credit on your account, to be used towards any treatment (not retail or vouchers).
- Credit is not valid for retail purchases or gift vouchers, except where you are cancelling your membership and have unused credit remaining.
- Expired or unused credit cannot be redeemed for cash, nor transferred to another person.
6. Booking and Appointments
- All appointments are subject to availability.
- Members must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Failure to do so may result in forfeited credit or a no-show fee in line with standard salon policy (100% of the scheduled service cost).
7. Pausing or Holding Membership
- Members may request to pause their membership for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 2 months in any 12-month period.
- Requests must be made in writing with 7 days notice.
- Membership benefits cannot be used while frozen, and the minimum term is extended by the length of the pause.
8. Changes to Terms or Pricing
- Polished Byron Bay may update these terms or pricing with at least 30 days’ written or electronic notice.
- If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your membership prior to the effective date.
9. Benefits
- Membership benefits (including LED access, retail and facial discounts, and complimentary treatments) are personal to the member and non-transferable.
- Complimentary treatments tied to specific months of membership must be redeemed within 6 months and not be banked or backdated if missed.
- The 10% discount on retail and facials are not available with another promotional offer
- The Birthday Treat – lash tint or brow wax must be redeemed within the birthday month
10. General
- Memberships are non-transferable and for individual use only.
- By joining, you agree to abide by salon policies and these terms.
- These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales.

- One complimentary lash tint or brow wax during your birthday month, no minimum tenure required
- Must be booked directly with Polished, not available online
- Must be redeemed within your birthday month; cannot be backdated or carried over
- Non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit
- Standard 24 hours’ cancellation notice applies; no-show or late cancellation forfeits the treat for that year
- If your birthday falls during a paused or suspended membership, the treat is forfeited for that year.
